Official Raspberry Pi power supply designed specifically for the Raspberry Pi 5. Delivers 5.1V at 5A (27W) via the USB Power Delivery (PD) protocol, the fast-charging standard over USB-C. When the Pi 5 detects this supply, it automatically increases the current limit on its USB-A ports from 600 mA to 1.6 A, allowing more demanding peripherals such as external hard drives, SSDs or USB hubs to be powered without stability issues. Using an underpowered supply can cause undervoltage warnings, random reboots or USB device disconnection under load. In addition to the 5V/5A profile specific to Raspberry Pi, it includes standard PD profiles for other compatible devices: 9V/3A, 12V/2.25A and 15V/1.8A. Efficiency above 91%. Also compatible with Raspberry Pi 4, Pi 500 and Pi 500+. 1.2m cable (17AWG). Universal 100-240V AC input. European plug. Available in white and black.
